Subway looks to give on-the-go fans better options with the introduction of a new lineup of wraps served on its new, lavash-style flatbread – the brand’s first new bread option in 3 years – starting April 11, 2024.
According to Subway, the new lavash-style bread, which is inspired by Middle Eastern cuisine, has a soft and bubbly texture and holds more ingredients than a wheat tortilla, allowing their new wraps to pack a footlong protein portion in a six-inch size.
Here’s a closer look at Subway’s four new hearty wraps:
- Homestyle Chicken Salad: Rotisserie-style chicken and mayo, paired with lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion.
- Honey Mustard Chicken: Rotisserie-style chicken topped with Monterey cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and sweet Honey Mustard sauce.
- Turkey, Bacon & Avocado: Oven-roasted turkey, crispy bacon and smashed avocado paired with Monterey cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and zesty Peppercorn Ranch sauce.
- Cali Caprese: BelGioioso mozzarella cheese and fresh avocado, topped with lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers, Roasted Garlic Aioli and MVP Parmesan Vinaigrette.
Additionally, fans looking to take their favorite Subway sandwich to the next level can opt for the new lavash-style flatbread or craft a new favorite with chicken salad, a twist on a former cult-classic menu item. This latest menu update is part of the brand’s ongoing transformation journey that began back in 2021, which focuses on raising the bar with new and improved ingredients, delicious signature sandwiches, salads, sides, snacks, and now, wraps and flatbreads.
