Taco Bell and the NBA are once again teaming up, this time for the launch of “NBA Comebacks” – a revamped version of the brand’s “Steal a Game, Steal a Taco” promotion – as well as the return of the much anticipated Flamin’ Hot Doritos Locos Tacos.
This year’s NBA Finals promotion not only gives fans the chance to score a free taco, but, as mentioned above, it also marks the return of the Flamin’ Hot Doritos Locos Tacos, which quickly became one of the chain’s most popular menu items following its debut back in April 2020.
The Flamin’ Hot Doritos Locos Tacos features a Flamin’ Hot Doritos taco shell stuffed with the usual Taco Bell fillings like seasoned beef, lettuce, and shredded cheese.
Taco Bell’s new NBA Comebacks promotion increases the likelihood of fans scoring a free Flamin’ Hot Doritos Locos Tacos, since seven of the most impressive halftime comebacks in NBA Finals history have occurred in the last 10 years.
Here’s how it works. The first time an NBA Finals team is losing at halftime but comes back to win the game will score a free Flamin’ Hot Doritos Locos Tacos for Taco Bell fans across America.
The Redemption Day details, as well as the official menu launch of the Flamin’ Hot Doritos Locos Tacos will be shared at a later date following an NBA comeback.
This year’s NBA Finals start in July and could run as late as Game 7 on July 22, 2021.
