Taco Bell Asks Fans To Vote For The Return Of One Of Two Discontinued Items: Beefy Crunch Burrito Or Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos

Building on the success of last year’s launch, Taco Bell is once again giving fans the power to put a classic fan favorite item back on the menu with the return of the in-app voting experience for a second year in a row.

Last year, the Enchirito beat out the Double Decker Taco with 62% of more than 765,000 votes cast. For 2023, the brand’s Beefy Crunch Burrito featuring Fritos Flamin’ Hot Flavored Corn Chips and Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos are going head-to-head in Taco Bell’s popular in-app competition.

Taco Bell Rewards members can vote once daily in the chain’s app through April 12, with the victor announced on April 13 and on menus nationwide for a limited time at participating locations starting in late 2023.

Beefy Crunch Burrito

Initially introduced in 2010, the Beefy Crunch Burrito is made with seasoned beef, Fritos Flamin’ Hot Flavored Corn Chips, seasoned rice, nacho cheese sauce, and reduced-fat sour cream. After first debuting back in 2010, the Beefy Crunch Burrito instantly became a fan-favorite and, although it was officially discontinued in 2011, it made multiple comebacks as a limited time offering until 2018.

Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos

Originally introduced in 2013, the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos features a boldly seasoned shell of the iconic Doritos Cool Ranch flavor, stuffed with seasoned beef, lettuce and cheddar cheese. The Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos was discontinued in 2019.

To sign up for Taco Bell Rewards and start voting, all you need to do is download the Taco Bell app and create an account. Besides being able to vote, Rewards members also get access to exclusive offers and earn points on qualifying purchases to redeem for rewards when ordering through the app, online, at the kiosk, or by scanning order receipts.
