Taco Bell is celebrating the liberation of the Taco Tuesday trademark registration in 49 states by teaming up with DoorDash to open up a $5 million taco tab to cover a portion of fans’ orders from any participating vendor selling Mexican food on September 12, 2023.
It’s worth noting, though, that since the Taco Tuesday trademark registration has been canceled in all states except New Jersey, the DoorDash offer will be limited to the 49 states where it has already been freed up.
As part of the celebration, Taco Bell will also be offering a free Doritos Locos Taco every Tuesday – no purchase necessary – at all participating locations nationwide, including those in New Jersey, through Tuesday, September 5, 2023.
To take advantage of the offer, simply stop by any participating Taco Bell location on Tuesdays 8/15, 8/22, 8/29, and 9/5 during local store operating hours and you’ll receive one regular free Seasoned Beef Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos on the house.
Just be aware that there’s a limit of one regular free Seasoned Beef Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Taco per person, per offer day, and is not valid for delivery orders unless placed directly on the brand’s app. Cannot be combined with any other offers.
The Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Taco features a Nacho Cheese Doritos Chips shell stuffed with seasoned beef, shredded cheese, and fresh lettuce.
