Whataburger is celebrating its 73rd anniversary by declaring August 8 National Whataburger Day and offering Rewards Members a free Whataburger in the app – no purchase necessary – on August 8, 2023.
Active Whataburger Rewards members can score a free Whataburger on National Whataburger Day if they have
- Downloaded the chain’s app on Google Play for Android or on the App Store for iOS.
- Created a free Whataburger Rewards account.
- Placed an in-app order within the past 12 months. (Note: You must have placed at least one order through the brand’s app in the last twelve months to be considered an active user.)
The digital offer can be redeemed only once per Rewards Member account at participating locations.
The signature Whataburger consists of a large beef patty topped with diced onions, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and mustard on a lightly toasted 5-inch bun.
Additionally, today only, Whataburger is also giving away limited quantities of inaugural National Whataburger Day table tents to fans who drop by a participating restaurant on their birthday. Whataburger is also handing out free National Whataburger Day table tents to customers who celebrate the milestone with some retail therapy on the Whatastore, while supplies last.
