Taco Bell jumps on the fried chicken bandwagon with the introduction of new Crispy Tortilla Chicken Strips and Taco.
Today, the chain announced that it will begin testing their latest culinary innovation at select locations in Dayton, Ohio, and Houston, Texas, before rolling it out nationwide next year.
Crispy Tortilla Chicken Strips feature 100 percent all-white meat chicken strips marinated in jalapeño buttermilk and rolled in a crunchy tortilla chip coating.
The new chicken tenders will be available in 2-piece and 3-piece orders and come served with the chain’s new signature Creamy Chili Pepper Sauce for dipping.
The new Crispy Tortilla Chicken Taco consists of a taco shell filled with chicken strips, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and other taco toppings.
Crispy Tortilla Chicken will be available at $1.99 for a taco, $2.99 for a 2-piece order, and $3.99 for 3-piece order. A $5 box will also be offered and will include a Crispy Tortilla Chicken Taco, a Beefy 5 Layer Burrito, a Crunchy Taco, and a medium drink.
