Taco Cabana is the latest fast-food chain to jump into the faux-meat game with the release of a new Beyond Meat Taco and a Beyond Meat Bowl. The brand is also once again offering Carne Asada Tacos and a new Carne Asada Bowl, both of which are inspired by TC’s Tex-Mex heritage.
Taco Cabana’s new Beyond Meat menu features items made with a plant-based protein that looks, tastes, and feels like real meat, but it does not contain soy, gluten, or GMO’s.
The Beyond Meat Taco comes with Beyond Beef, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, tomatoes, and guac in a crispy flour tortilla shell.
The Beyond Meat Bowl is 100 percent vegan and features delicious ingredients like Mexican rice, Beyond Beef, shredded lettuce, black beans, avocado salsa, corn & calabacita mix, and guac in a crispy fried shell.
TC’s new Beyond Meat Taco carries a suggested price of $2.39, while the Beyond Meat Vegan Bowl costs $5.99 (may vary).
Taco Cabana’s new Carne Asada lineup includes:
- Carne Asada Taco filled with grilled onions and drizzled with avocado salsa.
- Carne Asada Taco filled with corn and calabacita mix, cotija cheese, and salsa verde.
- The Carne Asada Bowl features Carne Asada, rice, refried beans, pico de gallo, lettuce, sour cream, and shredded lettuce in a crispy fried shell.
Fans can get a Carne Asada Taco for just $2.49 or mix and match their choice of two Carne Asada menu items for $4.69.
The new menu items are available now at participating locations nationwide for a limited time.
