Wendy’s Introduces New Crispy Panko Fish Sandwich

Wendy’s adds Alaska Pollock to the menu for the first time with the arrival of the all-new Crispy Panko Fish Sandwich.

The new Crispy Panko Fish Sandwich features a Wild Alaska Pollock fillet coated in panko breadcrumbs, deep fried until golden brown, and topped with a slice of melted American cheese, crisp lettuce, dill pickles, and creamy dill tartar sauce on a lightly toasted bun.

Wendy’s says that the new fillet’s “buttery and flakiness is complimented by savory notes of garlic and onion,” and recommends “trying it with a cold Dr. Pepper, straight from the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine.”

The Crispy Panko Fish Sandwich carries a suggested price of $4.19, though prices may vary a bit depending on location. It can be ordered in-restaurant or for pick-up via the Wendy’s app. And it’s also available for delivery via third-party delivery partners like DoorDash, Postmates, Grubhub, and Uber Eats.

Wendy’s new fish sandwich is available now at participating restaurants nationwide for a limited time.

  1. Waited a year for the Wendy’s fish sandwich. I think it is the best fast food fish sandwich. Plan on getting another fish sandwich tomorrow.

  2. Tried the new sandwich but honestly I loved your Cod sandwich of the past much better. Sorry you changed it- guess I’ll have to try some other places for my Friday Lent lunch fix.
