Wendy’s is reportedly launching a new Peppermint Frosty, two new Italian-inspired sandwiches, and new limited edition Garlic Fries next month.
The fast-food juggernaut is rolling out 4 all-new menu items on November 15, 2022, according to leaked internal documents shared with The Fast Food Post.
Taking center stage are the two new Made to Crave Italian Mozzarella sandwiches, which the company says are meant to give fans the “opportunity to have a true upscale Italian restaurant experience in the Fast Food World.”
Perhaps drawing inspiration from Culver’s now-famed CurderBurger, the new sandwiches come topped with a crown of golden fried mozzarella cheese and are served on a unique garlic knot bun to round out what could end up being one of the chain’s best menu offerings yet.
More specifically, the Italian Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich features a crispy-fried chicken breast topped with a slice of mozzarella cheese, gooey fried mozzarella cheese, and marinara sauce on a garlic knot bun.
Available in Classic, Grilled, and Spicy varieties, the Italian Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich carries a suggested price of $6.79.
Meanwhile, the Italian Mozzarella Cheeseburger consists of a fresh beef patty topped, a slice of melted mozzarella cheese, fried mozzarella cheese, and marinara sauce on a garlic knot bun.
Prices for the Italian Mozzarella Cheeseburger start at $6.49 for a single patty, $7.69 for a double patty, and $8.89 for a triple patty.
Priced at $2.79, new Garlic Fries feature the brand’s signature natural-cut, skin-on fries sprinkled with garlic seasoning and doused in garlic herb sauce.
Additionally, the leaked document also states that both the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich and Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit breakfast sandwich will be discontinued for the launch of the new Italian Mozzarella duo.
Peppermint Frosty
But there’s bad new for Frosty fans everywhere – they won’t be able to enjoy the brand’s popular Vanilla Frosty until next year.
According to the company memo, the fan-favorite Frosty flavor isn’t returning until sometime early in 2023. Instead of bringing back the Vanilla Frosty, Wendy’s is replacing the recently introduced Strawberry Frosty with a brand new Peppermint flavor just in time for the holiday season on November 15 as well.
The new Peppermint Frosty features vanilla Frosty base mixed with peppermint syrup.
Wendy’s festive Peppermint Frosty is available in junior, small, medium, and large sizes for $1.19, $1.99, $2.49, and $2.89, respectively.
All four new menu offerings can be found at participating Wendy’s locations nationwide for a limited time starting November 15, 2022. Prices may vary.
It’s worth noting, though, that some locations are already offering the new Made to Crave sandwiches now in advance of the official release date.
