After nearly a four-year hiatus and overwhelming popular demand, Whataburger is finally bringing back its fan-favorite Pico de Gallo Burger for a limited time this summer, starting on June 3, 2025.
The Pico de Gallo Burger features a five-inch toasted bun sandwiching a 100% fresh, never-frozen beef patty or a crispy Whatachick’n patty, melted pepper jack cheese, house-made pico de gallo, and zesty cilantro-lime sauce.
First introduced in 2020 and quickly winning fans all over the country, the Pico de Gallo Burger returns for Whataburger’s 75th anniversary, joining other limited-time favorites throughout the year.
To celebrate its return, Whataburger is launching “La Gran Whatalucha,” a four-part social media series featuring real-life luchadores competing lucha libre-style for a custom Whatalucha championship belt, complete with dramatic entrances, high-flying action, and the bold energy of the Pico de Gallo Burger’s comeback.
The Pico de Gallo Burger will be available at participating Whataburger locations nationwide for a limited time starting Tuesday, June 3, 2025.
