Baskin-Robbins is taking a page from its parent company by introducing two new plant-based non-dairy ice cream flavors. For those unaware, Dunkin’ yesterday announced the launch of a new Beyond Sausage Breakfast Sandwich.
Beginning August 1, 2019 the new vegan menu items will be available at participating locations in the following two varieties:
Non-Dairy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough: A mouthwatering plant-based ice cream featuring chocolate chunks, cookie dough pieces, and a chocolate ribbon.
Non-Dairy Chocolate Extreme: An indulgent vegan and gluten-free dessert featuring chocolate chunks and a chocolate ribbon.
Made with a blend of almond butter and coconut oil, the new vegan ice cream flavors at Baskin-Robbins do not contain ingredients from animal origins. The plant-based flavors are free from artificial flavors, preservatives, and high fructose syrup. And according to a press release, they’re also Kosher.
Baskin-Robbins will offer free samples of its new vegan ice cream on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at participating locations nationwide, while supplies last. Those who show up will get a 1-ounce scoop of both Non-Dairy flavors for free.
The ice cream chain says fans “won’t be able to tell that they are not eating a full-dairy version.”
We really hope that’s true!
