Carl’s Jr. is shaking up its menu with the addition of two new items, both featuring the chain’s new truffle sauce.

The new items include the Bacon Truffle Angus Burger and Bacon Truffle Cheese Fries.

The new Bacon Truffle Angus Burger comes with a charbroiled beef patty topped with truffle-infused cheese sauce, crispy onion strings, two slices of Applewood smoked bacon, caramelized onions, mayo, and melted Swiss cheese, all sandwiched between two buns.

The Bacon Truffle Angus Burger is also available with two 100 percent Black Angus beef patties, a 1/3 lb. beef patty, and with a half-pound beef patty.

Carl’s Jr. new Bacon Truffle Fries feature the chain’s crispy golden fries smothered with truffle-infused cheese sauce and topped with bits of Applewood-smoked bacon.

The Bacon Truffle Angus Burger starts at a suggested price of $5.99 and the Bacon Truffle Fries at $2.79. But prices may vary by location.

The company said in a press release that Truffles are viewed as a rare indulgence. And they’re now “bringing it to the everyday dining experience by infusing truffle flavor into their new offerings.”
