El Pollo Loco is celebrating the arrival of the 2020 holiday season with the return of a variety of popular items, including Chicken Pozole Verde, Mexican Hot Chocolate, and Chicken Tamale, the latter which is also available as part of the chain’s Holiday Tamale Bowls lineup.
Described as a soulful classic that is perfect for any holiday occasion, El Pollo Loco’s Chicken Pozole Verde features fire-grilled pollo and tender hominy, slow simmered in a rich broth of tomatillo, garlic, onion and chilies.
Meanwhile, the chain’s decadent and creamy Mexican Hot Chocolate is made with rich Abuelita Chocolate, spiced with a hint of cinnamon and vanilla, and topped with whipped cream and a dusting of cinnamon sugar.
The Chicken Pozole is available in small and large sizes for $4.79 and $6.99, respectively. The chain’s Mexican Hot Chocolate, on the other hand, carries a suggested price of just $1.99. Individual Chicken Tamales cost $2.49 each, but you can also get an order of 5 Chicken Tamales for $9.99 or 12 for $19.99. As always, prices may vary depending on where you live.
