Kentucky Fried Chicken is now moving into the toy business, apparently.
KFC has established a partnership with the popular collectibles company Funko to create a new line of Colonel Sanders Pop! vinyl figurines.
Funko, best known for creating cute and also unique adaptations of pop culture icons, also released a limited edition Colonel Sanders Wacky Wobbler bobblehead for the chain’s 50th anniversary back in 2002.
However, that was a Wobbler bobblehead, and not an actual Funko Collectible like the ones they’re offering now.
There are two versions of the Colonel Sanders Funko figurine. The first one, features the legendary chicken salesman holding a bucket of KFC’s fried chicken. And the second one, features Colonel Sanders holding his signature cane.
Funko’s limited-edition Colonel Sanders Pop! vinyl figures will be available for online starting today, and they will also be available at select retailers nationwide.
Actually, the first version of the figurine is available now on Amazon for $10.99. While the second version will only be available exclusively on Funko’s online store.
