Omsom founders Vanessa and Kim Pham, and Luke’s Lobster founders Luke Holden and Ben Conniff are joining forces to celebrate the distinct, culinary flavors of sweet Maine lobster and fiery Sichuan mala with the launch of the new Spicy Mala Lobster Roll and new Omsom Lobster Tail Pack.
A Sichuan take on a beloved New England Classic, the Spicy Mala Lobster roll features chilled wild-caught lobster served in a toasted, buttered bun with dollops of Omsom Mala Kewpie mayo and topped with toasted sesame seeds and chives. Served with kettle chips.
Additionally, an Omsom Lobster Tail Pack, which includes a Luke’s Lobster Tail Pack (5-6oz tails), Omsom’s Chinese Mala sauce, and a recipe card for Lobster Tail Mala Salad (as well as other recipe ideas) will also be available at Luke’s Lobster Online Market.
The Spicy Mala Lobster Roll starts at a suggested price of $25, while the Omsom Lobster Tails online packs go for $120 each. In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage month, the team will donate $1 from each Spicy Mala Lobster Roll and a portion of the proceeds of every Omsom Lobster Tail Pack sold in the month of May to the Immigrant History Initiative.
The new Spicy Mala Lobster Roll is available at all Luke’s Lobster shacks nationwide for a limited time.
